Biography Mishima Yukio(1925-1970) was a novelist and a playwright born in Tokyo. Went to the high school department of Gakushuin and graduated from the law department of Tokyo University. Worked at the Ministry of Finance but quit the job and devoted to writing. His book "Confession of Mask" became famous and spread to the overseas as well. Later inclined to the nationalism thought. Committed suicide at the headquarter of the Self-Defense Forces in Ichigaya, Tokyo.
