Biography Mokusu Nyojo(1597-1657) was a monk of Obaku-shu sect born in Jiangxi, China. Moved to Japan and became the 2nd head priest of Kofuku-ji Temple in Nagasaki. Devoted to build the auditoriums and built the famous stone bridge, the bridge of glasses. Excelled at making elephant pin and calligraphy.
