Biography Kano Shosen'in Masanobu(1823-1880) was a painter born in Edo(present Tokyo). Studied painting under his father, Kano Seisen'in Osanobu. The 8th and last head painter of Kibikicho Kano family. Served to Tokugawa Iemochi and Ieyoshi, and was given the title "Hogen." His pupils are Kano Hogan and Hashimoto Gaho.
