Biography Ogawa Senyo(1882-1971) was a Japanese-style painter born in Kyoto. Studied Buddhism painting under Kitamura Keiju and Western painting under Asai Chu. Moved to Tokyo and established Sango Association of the Arts together with Hirafuku Hyakusui and Ogawa Usen. Also known as a prominent poet of waka and haiku.
