Biography Kikkawa Reika(1875-1929) was a Japanese-style painter born in Tokyo. Became a pupil of a Ukiyoe painter, Hashimoto Chikanobu, and later studied Kano and Tosa schools under Kano Ryoshin and Yamana Tsurayoshi. Studied under Hashimoto Gaho and Koyama Shotaro. Being strongly influenced by Reizei Tamechika and created the Yamato-style paintings.
