Artist Kiyomizu Rokubei, the 6th,Ogawa Usen

Biography Kiyomizu Rokubei, the 6th(1901-1980) was a Japanese Potter born in Kyoto. Studied pottery under his father, Kiyomizu Rokubei, the 5th. Added glaze and firing technique to the traditional technique of Kyoyaki ware.

Ogawa Usen(1868-1938) was a Japanese-style painter born in Tokyo. Studied Western-style painting under Honda Kinkichiro. Drew manga and illustrations for newspapers and others.
