Biography Deguchi Onisaburo(1871-1948 ) was a religious leader born in Kyoto. Regarded as a prodigy since early childhood. Married with Deguchi Sumi (a daughter of Deguchi Nao, the founder of Oomoto) and changed his name into Deguchi Onisaburo. Always advocated anti-war, world peace and love for humanity. In his latest years, absorbed in handmade pottery(Rakuyaki) called “Yowan.”
