Biography Takatsuji Tanenaga(1740-1803) was a court noble born in Kyoto as the son of Takatsuji Ienaga. At the behest of Matsudaira Sadanobu, he built the Imperial Palace, which was destroyed by the Great Fire of Tenmei.
