Biography Gesshu Soko (1618-1696) was a monk of Sotoshu sect born in Bizen (present Okayama Prefecture). Studied under Kegaku at Ennoji temple. Became Hoshi (successor) to Hakuho Genteki of Daijyoji temple. Known as the 26th abbot of Daijoji. Founder of Kozennin-temple and Zentokuji-temple.
