Biography Nakayama Komin(1808-1870)

Kano Naganobu(1775-1828)was a Japanese painter born in Edo(now Tokyo), son and pupil of Yosenin Korenobu. Succeeded 8th generation head of the Kobikicho branch of the Edo Kano school.
Familiar with tea ceremony and benefited from interaction with 7th lord of Matsue, Matsudaira Fumai. Studied antique Chinese and Japanse paintings. The restorer of Edo Kano School.
