Biography Nakajima Saito (1902-1955) was a Japanese painter born in Tottori Prefecture. Studied under Ymamoto Shunkyo. Learned under Tomita Keisen after graduating from Kyoto City Specialist School of Painting. Active in Inten (the Japan Academy of Fine Arts) since his acceptance for it in 1929. Painted many original sceneries in Japan. Lived in Ichijo-ji in Kyoto.
