Biography Kaneko Daiei (1881-1976) was a Buddhist scholar and priest of Joso Shinshu sect born in Niigata Prefecture. Graduated from Shinshu university (the present Otani university). Involved in missionary work in Niigata. In 1915, in charge of editing "Seishinkai" by Kiyozawa Manshi (1863-1903 Shin Buddhist reformer) as a chief editor. Lived in Kyoto, Honorary professor of Otani University.
