Biography Itsuzan(1702-1778) was a Japanese calligrapher and seal carver born in Osaka. Studied calligraphy under Niioki Mosho(1687-1755). Devoted himself to study the Tensho style Chinese characters. Excelled at bird-and-flower paintings.
