Biography Kanamori Kanyo (1884-1932) was a Japanese painter born in Toyama Prefecture. Learned under Otake Etsudo in Toyama and Kikuchi Keigetsu in Tokyo. Also involved in illustrating for a srrial novel of “Shinsengumi” and “Daibosatsutoge (Great Bodhisattva Pass)” etc.
