Biography Mutoku Ryogo(1651-1742) was a monk of Sotoshu sect born in Aizu (present Fukushima Prefecture). Practiced under Ingen Ryuki(1592-1673), Mokuan Shoto(1611-1684), Choon Dokai and Dokudan Shokei. Also studied under Bankei(1622-1693).
